Four Projects Serviced by SRIBS Awarded the First Batch of National Zero Carbon Building Certification
On September 22, the "2024 First Batch of Zero Carbon Building Project Release Conference and Zero Carbon Building Technology Forum," organized by the China Association of Building Energy Efficiency (CABEE), was successfully held. Xu Qiang, senior chief engineer of RIBS, along with relevant team leaders, were invited to attend the conference.
Four Projects of SRIBS Awarded the National First Batch of "Zero Carbon Building" Certification
On the Fourth Anniversary of China's "Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality" Goals, the Conference Released the First Batch of National Zero Carbon Building Projects
At the conference, the first batch of zero carbon building projects that passed the national assessment was announced. Among them, four projects supported by the low carbon service team of the SRIBS were awarded the national "Zero Carbon Building" certification. The team follows technical principles of carbon reduction in building design, efficiency improvement in electromechanical systems, and energy enhancement through new energy sources. They adopted high-performance enclosure systems, integrated photovoltaic systems, flexible response technologies such as cooling storage and energy storage, and intelligent monitoring strategies for building energy and carbon to achieve the technical goal of zero carbon in buildings.

The Conference Released the List of Third-Party Assessment Institutions for Zero Carbon Buildings. SRIBS successfully made it onto the list of the first batch of assessment institutions and received certification.

SRIBS has served as the chief editor of the national standard "Green Building Evaluation Standard" and has participated in the compilation of national standards such as "Near Zero Energy Building Technical Standard" and "Zero Carbon Building Technical Standard." Since the 12th Five-Year Plan, it has led three national key R&D projects focused on green low carbon directions in urbanization and has hosted 15 research projects. The types of projects served exceed 80, including office buildings, kindergartens, residential buildings, commercial spaces, and public cultural buildings.
